Independent celebrant covering, Cheshire and it’s borders.

I recognise that organising a funeral service can be a daunting task for family or friends. I can help with that. You may not be aware, but there are options open to you away from the more traditional religious services or non-religious humanist ceremonies offered. Funeral Celebrants can lead ceremonies with no religious content at all or with a blend of options that were important to the deceased, such as their spirituality, or poems, prayers, readings and hymns.

About me

After an initial conversation with yourself, I will arrange to meet with you and your family at a place and time of your choice; this may be at your home or that of a friend, a place of your choosing such as a Funeral Director’s premises or via Zoom, should you prefer to meet initially online.

I take the time to get to know the person that has passed and their family and friends in order to provide a eulogy and ceremony that reflects who they were, how they wished to be remembered, and how their family and friends wish to honour their memory. I also help you source the right poetry, readings and music as required, and can liaise with family or friends choosing to read, sing or play music, as needed.

I am passionate about getting your ceremony just right.

Although my full service offering includes creating and performing the service and eulogy, I recognise that some may just prefer help with writing the tribute or revising one already written. I am happy to accommodate either preference.
